A new beginning to make and know a new friend…
I started my 1st first guitar class with Liston on 1st May 2010…
The first day was a very pathetic experience because I was utterly uncomfortable holding the guitar forget striking the strings and playing some music. Lolz... May be I thought it was so easy especially what one sees in concerts and movies. :-P
So happy realizations happened in my first class where I realized that it was time to be a perseverant kid again. The main reasons to learn the guitar are 1. To make a new friend 2. to hone patience into my system..... I am very impatient…never like waiting for replies, signals...etc. probably this time it will be instill in me through my effort to make friends with one of the best n my favorite musical instrument… But I m not a loser so I will win this battle and tame the beast of impatience in me and play music on the guitar alike. :-)
The first lesson Liston gave me is about guitar parts and then some finger exercises which was too much for a day :) the open strings to and fro were the easiest to play...
I still play them when i get tired trying to get some music out from my guitar...
My Guitar ... for the first time in my life I have not spent to buy a new one :-)
My Bro Nik gave his guitar to me...a sexy 'F' cut guitar...basic one which was as good as new.
So that was my first day learning the guitar with Liston... knowing the parts of the guitar, learning to hold it and playing open strings to and fro...
